EL CHEFE
MEXICAN CUISINE FOOD TRUCK

The Challenge
El Chefe had the food, but not the look. Their only existing asset was an old mascot logo that felt dated and unappealing — nothing that made people crave the food, feel welcome, or remember the name. As a food truck, first impressions happen fast and from a distance; the brand had to feel fun and inviting and stand out from every other truck on the block.
The Approach
We rebuilt El Chefe into a bright, fun, family-friendly identity — the kind that makes people of all ages smile and want to come over. A punchy red-and-white palette pops from across a parking lot, anchored by a redrawn mascot with personality — a confident, sunglasses-and-mustache chef with local "479" pride — plus a friendly "El Chefe" wordmark and playful taco, knife, and lime icons. Warm, approachable, and impossible to miss.

The Result
A brand-new El Chefe that's bright, fun, and instantly recognizable — a truck that welcomes families and friends and stands out in a sea of look-alike vendors. A cohesive identity that carries across the truck, the merch, and every taco bag, giving a local food truck the presence and personality of a real, well-loved brand.
